The twin screw feeders with bridge breaker are for use with difficult flow products, packaging, moist or doughy products, for a range of low, medium and high flow rates.

The twin screw feeder's adjustable structure allows for quick and effective cleaning while the different sized screw pumps guarantee excellent adaptability for any use, allowing the flow rates to be adjusted according to various needs.

The bridge breaker placed inside the tank maintain the product's mobility and ensures regular feeding to the auger. There is no risk of vacuum formation, thanks to the space between the arm of the bridge breaker and the screw pumps being reduced to a minimum. The connected screw pumps, being interlocked, self-clean so that fouling is avoided and also allow the tank to be emptied, greatly reducing product changeover time and minimising residual losses.

Being designed and built to last and the twin screw feeders don't need any maintenance.
Screw pumps, hoppers and any material that comes in contact with the dispensed product are made from AISI 304 stainless steel (or, up on request, AISI 316 stainless steel). They have all been highly-polished so that the product glides and flows more smoothly towards the feeder, which can be encouraged by combining the hopper agitators, pneumatic vibrators and fluidisers. The screws' washers that are in contact with the products are made of teflon.

From volumetric to gravimetric feeders

Single and twin screw feeders can be equipped with a load cell scale and a micro-processor regulator panel produced by our company, for gravimetric weight feeding. Furthermore, depending on our customer's needs, we can also manufacture a continuous gravimetric feeding, or a batch-fed gravimetric feeding.
